What we check

There is no single company register in the UAE: each emirate's economic department licenses mainland companies, and each free zone — DMCC, JAFZA, DIFC, ADGM and the others — keeps its own register. Your legal name is the one printed on the licence, legal-form suffix included.

This register is not openly searchable. We therefore compare the Dun & Bradstreet record against the documents you send us, starting with your certificate of incorporation, and flag any gap between the two.

Worth knowing in the United Arab Emirates

Mainland or free zone, not both

A group can hold a DET licence as « X L.L.C » and a DMCC licence as « X DMCC ». They are two legal entities, and Dun & Bradstreet may carry the number on the other one. Give us the licence of the entity that enrols with Apple or Google.

Branches do not qualify

Apple does not accept branches. A branch licence, or the UAE branch of a foreign company, enrols under its parent, and it is the parent's D-U-N-S number we need.
