Worth knowing in Hong Kong

Your BRN is now your company number

Since 27 December 2023 the Companies Registry identifies companies by their Business Registration Number, which replaced the CR number on new certificates. Older certificates still show a CR number: give us the BRN.

English name, Chinese name, or both

A Hong Kong company may be registered with an English name, a Chinese name or both, never with the two mixed in one name. Give us the name exactly as registered, « Limited » included, in the language you use with Apple or Google.
