Worth knowing in Singapore

Your UEN says what you are

A company's UEN starts with its year of incorporation; an LLP's starts with T and carries LL. Nine characters mean a business registered as a sole proprietorship or partnership, which is not a separate legal entity: Apple enrols a sole proprietor as an individual.

A branch is not the company

The Singapore branch of a foreign company has its own UEN, with FC in it, but Apple does not accept branches. The enrolment, and the D-U-N-S number, belong to the company itself.
