    You upload three documents

    You receive the link to your order page, where you upload, within 14 days, your registration certificate, a proof of address and the Dun & Bradstreet questionnaire, completed and signed.

    We submit

    We review your request and submit it within one business day to Dun & Bradstreet's local partner, who may call your company to verify it.

    You receive the number

    By email, 10 to 35 days after submission. Your order page shows where the request stands.

What the partner asks for

You enter it on the form, before paying:

  • the registered company name, as on the register
  • the registration number and TIN
  • the physical address, and the postal address if different
  • the company telephone number, country code included
  • the company email address
  • the website and a contact person, if you have them

The document to upload

After payment, on your order page: Certificate of incorporation. Issued by the Registrar of Companies, even if it still reads Swaziland. The registered name on it must match your order.

After payment, on your order page: Valid proof of address. An electricity, water or internet bill, or a notarised rental agreement, in the company's name.

After payment, on your order page: Dun & Bradstreet questionnaire, completed and signed. Download it, fill it in on a computer (handwritten questionnaires are refused), sign it, then upload it as a PDF or a scan.

How long it takes

10 to 35 days after the request is submitted, excluding the partner's closure from 15 December to 15 January. This period is indicative: it depends on the partner.

If it does not go through

Full refund if the partner declines to create the number, or if you do not upload your documents within 14 days.

A Swaziland certificate is fine

A certificate issued before 2018 reads Kingdom of Swaziland. It comes from the same register and names the same company: upload it as it is.

A clear scan matters more here

The register cannot be searched online, so the partner relies on your certificate to confirm the name and number. Upload the whole certificate, every page, legibly.

Questions about creation

Isn't creating a D-U-N-S number free?

Yes: any company can apply free of charge through Dun & Bradstreet. What you pay for, US$99.00 excl. tax, is having us do it for you: we prepare the request, file it in your company's name with Dun & Bradstreet's local partner, follow it up and email you the number.

How long does it take?

Your request goes to the partner within one business day of uploading your documents, once our team has reviewed it. The number then reaches you by email 10 to 35 days after submission, excluding the partner's closure from 15 December to 15 January.

What if my company already has a number?

The partner tells us, and we send you that number: the order remains payable, since the work is done. If you are not sure, start with the search, US$19.99 excl. tax, delivered within the hour.

What if the request does not go through?

You are refunded in full if the partner declines to create the number, or if you do not upload your documents within 14 days. You are reminded by email one, five and ten days after we ask.

Who receives my company's details?

Dun & Bradstreet's local partner, by email, with a copy kept in our mailbox. The partner may call your company to verify the request. Uploaded documents are erased once your order is closed.
